Before retraining as a software engineer, she worked in marketing and management for 20 years in the engineering, technology, law enforcement, education and economic development sectors. A familiar face on the tech conference circuit, Suze MCs local and global industry events. Suze has taught coding (UK, USA) and given tech talks (UK, USA, Germany) with her work being cited in academic papers and at major conferences in Britain and overseas. She is passionate about demystifying tech for international audiences through her blog; she also hosts an educational YouTube series interviewing women about tech roles and career progression. Suze has led more than 10000 members in two of the largest software developer groups in London and her community event methodologies have been replicated by tech organisations in Silicon Valley, California. She has designed and delivered public speaking workshops for women in tech around the world. Suze is a multiple tech award winner and is on the Women in Software Power List.
